Summer's Almost Here

Hey Guys! I know I haven't posted much lately and for good reason- nothing exciting is going on! The only thing I'm looking forward to is summer vacation. No we're not taking any big trips... I just don't have to work long hours! I love working in the school system for June, July and August. I just wish the weather would cooperate and go back to spring temperatures. The humidity is killing me here. All right, until I have something more exciting to post.

My Favorite Time of Year

So its finally spring again. I love this time of year. The flowers are blooming and everything is green again. Plus we don't need to turn on the a/c or the heat so the weather is perfect for a few more weeks. Here is a picture of a 'Magnolia Jane' tree that Steve and I planted in Connor's memory. We spread his ashes around it last month. It's really blooming now, and thought you would enjoy seeing it.

Connor Patrick

I just wanted to let everyone know that Connor Patrick was born Saturday Febrary 27th and died a few hours later. He had only made it to 22 weeks and wasn't able to survive on his own. Steve and I are doing as well as can be and just didn't want this news to surprise anyone. We love all of you who have been so helpful and supportive this past weekend.

Newest Ultrasound Picture

Here is the newest ultrasound picture that I promised. The technician wanted to make sure it was clear to anyone who was looking how we know its a boy! :)

It's a Boy!

In case that title doesn't say it all, we found out Monday that baby Kramer is going to be a boy. The doctor told us that everything looks good and normal so far and that June 30th is still the estimated due date. I'll get a new picture of the ultrasound up soon. Steve needs the computer tonight to study for a test. But here is the newest belly shot of me at 20 weeks.

So here I am at 17 weeks. The belly is definitely getting more prominent. I even went and bought some maternity pants! My dress pants were getting a little tight. We had our 15 week screenings for potential genetic problems with the baby and they all came back negative, so that was good news. The only thing they had to say about my blood work was that my iron was at 32.5 and they wanted it at 35. So I'm trying to down extra iron in my diet!

So I'm finally putting up some pictures. The first picture is my belly at 8 weeks - not that much to see yet and I'm adding it for comparison reasons. The second picture is my belly at 15 weeks - still not much but now you can tell the bump is starting. :)

Hello, the newest news is that we have an appointment set for February 8th in which we will hopefully be able to find out if we are having a boy or a girl! Yeah... we can't wait! Maybe next time I'll have some better pictures to post.
